The Loss of Three Important Anthropologists

Leith Mullings died on December 13th. Mary Catherine Bateson died on January 2nd. Merryl Wyn Davies died on February 1st. Although Merryl Wyn Davies hasn’t yet received an obituary on Anthropology News, she deserves a worthy one. Leith Mullings, Mary Catherine Bateson, and Merryl Wyn Davies are three women who were rightfully standing at high
